Company History

Ad-Options was founded as a private company by Stephen and Ann Ward in 1985. The firm enjoyed over twelve years service as Payphone Advertising contractors to BT Payphones in the North of England, as well as suppling a wide range of printed promotional items, pioneering the use of laser printing and clear acrylic insert products.

The company were early developers of full colour printed business gifts and promotional items, utilising digital printing technology, particularly in the production of low-cost, volume promotions for use by the Taxi, Private Hire and Minicab trades. These still form a large part of the large, active and loyal customer base.

Ad-Options became a Limited company in 1998, with founder Stephen Ward as Managing Director. Online business gift purchasing was offered from 2001 with the launch of BusinessGiftUK.com. More promotional gift websites have followed steadily including promotional golf items for corporate golf days and events at BusinessGiftGolf.co.uk in 2003.

BlankKeyRings.co.uk was launched in 2006 as a specialist site for people wishing to create thier own promotional, souvenir or fund raising products. It is a popular resource for photographers, artists, estate agents, property managers and the motor trade.

2008 saw the introduction of the specialist online design Ad Loop keyring website LoopKeyRings.co.uk, followed by BusinessGiftPens.co.uk in 2009.

In 2010 the company built on the success of the Loop keyrings design website and applied a similar concept to promotional pencils with PrintedPencil.co.uk.

Now in 2011 a mouse mat site adds to the online family with Brite-MatMouseMat.co.uk which offers the UK's best selling rigid mouse mat, with fabulous colour reproduction and optimised mouse tracking.
